Sila has been involved in making music for film, theater and multimedia since 2003 Spring during which she attended the prestigious NYU/ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop. She worked with Marco Beltrami(Terminator3, Blade2 etc), Mark Snow(The X-Files)and others during the course of this workshop.

During summer 2003, she worked with theater director Brad Krumholz with the experimental theater company NaCl on the music for Brad's new play "Terrotica" which had month-long run in NYC in November 2003.

She wrote and recorded the orchestral score for "Catskill Chainsaw Redemption", a short film by J.R. Havlan and Matt Unger which premiered in February 2004 at multiple sold-out screenings of "These Just In: Four short films from writers of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart".
